Being a librarian is the BEST job ever! I enjoy helping people connect with information. This allows them to make informed decisions. There is something unnerving about the words, “I didn’t know,” or, “If only I know this before…” following a decision which resulted in unexpected, or just plain bad consequences. I hope that in my job, I help ease the pain of regret — the regret of not knowing ahead of time.
